  The experience was less than ordinary. An Italian restaurant with not the best service or food. I ordered a pasta dish...it arrived and I started to eat it but the spaghetti was so grainy and overcooked. Tasted watery and had no seasoning. I waited for a waitstaff but none came. I Waited some more still no service. I got up walked to the counter to ask for some salt and cheese. Sat back down, waited some more only eventually to see the waitress walk to another table and place the cheese and salt on their table. Not even seeing if they wanted the cheese or salt and not asking them if everything was OK. She didn't even look up to see Me waiting for her attention. I waited and again got up to walk to the counter to have all the staff just standing there behind the bar. Again I asked...where is my cheese and salt, I can't eat my meal. They came back not even caring if my meal was edible or not. Got up to pay and they also charged me for the cheese!!!! In an Italian restaurant!!!! Unheard of! They didn't care!
  I have worked in Italian restaurants for 20 years, I have owned and operated my own restaurants for over 10 years. This restaurants was very very disappointing

  Second time to this restaurant. First time very good (2020). So we visited again with our son (who spent a year in Italy during COVID)and his Italian girlfriend. We talked up this restaurant and what a disappointment !!! Pasta was not fresh, sauce was tasteless and most likely store bought and smothered. They brought me the wrong type pasta that I ordered. My wife’s veal was decent but the pasta and lasagne was a disaster. My son( 23 and who would eat anything could not finish his meal). Then dessert came, a chocolate brownie with ice cream was warmed by microwave and hard as a rock. For the price $30 per meal was way over priced for what we received. Never again. Avoid this place it has lost its Mojo. Very embarrassed for our Italian guest.

  It is a beautiful quaint restaurant and the food...truly a magical delight. I had the Pollo Chicken with Fettuccine and delicious does not even start to describe the taste. But a little tip, leave room for dessert. The tiramisu is exquisite. Next time I'm thinking of having dessert first.

  Have always had an enjoyable evening at La Pizzaiola - great food, friendly service, and an ideal location for events at the Empire Theatre. Wonderful

  Delicious everything and the service was great too. The fèta, sundried tomato spinach stuffed pork was so yummy and tender. The crab pasta was delicious too. We were fans of the garlic bread too. Thank you.
