  I have known Anne in a professional capacity since 2008. During that time, while I was with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Anne supported my team as an independent consultant. In many ways Anne is the quintessential consultant — she listens well, asks good questions to properly diagnose our needs, reflects that back to you in written summaries of conversations, easy to work with, and great “thought partner”. She is a careful writer who pays great attention to details and produces solid, high-quality products.
  
  Anne has a versatile set of skills that are fungible across different types of projects and tasks -- She has worked on conducting evaluations, project reviews, meta-analyses of portfolios, preparing FAQs, conducting trainings for Gates Foundation staff, designing and conducting landscape analyses, and meeting facilitation. Anne delivers results and is professional in how she engages with her clients. She is the person you want on your team if you want to get things done.   Anne and her team played an integral role in designing and implementing Well Being Trust's grantmaking systems and processes, as well as working with staff on grant administration issues. As WBT built our own capacity for grants management, Anne's team shifted to more of a traditional consultant role. Projects included: operationalizing an updated evaluation plan, planning a grantee convening, developing grant impact summaries for leadership, and incorporating DEI principles into our grant processes.
  
  Anne is extremely efficient and good at moving things forward with clear next steps. She provides her opinion and will discuss pros/cons of different options or approaches but is also very respectful of her clients’ opinions and needs and wants to make sure that the ultimate decisions are yours. I value her input and appreciate her warm and positive manner. I'm happy to provide my highest recommendation for her services.
